In a day and age where we are looking for non-chemical alternatives to treat our delicate skin for anti-ageing, Carita’s Genesis of Youth is perfect for just that.
It was a lucky Tuesday afternoon in November if you stepped onto the doorstep of The Chelsea Spa in London because visitors were treated to a free luxury 20-minute facial (usually lasting 1hr 45) carried out by a revered professional beauty therapist.

With coats stored neatly away, guests were individually met by a masseuse and led to a cosy room with soft music and asked to lay down on the beautifully presented cot.
After having a thorough face cleanse to rid any grime (thank you London traffic!) or make-up, you face was massaged with the delicate and smooth cream of Carita: Genesis of Youth.
The cream is formulated to smooth and firm the skin and leave it feeling bright and refreshed. The therapist’s capable hands relieve your skin from any tension you might be feeling (and from any negative thoughts that might be plaguing your mind.
However, this wasn’t the exciting part of the experience, particularly when you’re on the cusp of falling into a deep sleep from how relaxed you were. The next stage of the facial is pivotal to the Carita: Genesis of Youth anti-ageing treatment and that was through the use of Cinetic Lifting Expert (CLE).
Unlike the average facial, CLE is a non-surgical alternative to cosmetic surgery through the use of micro-currents to stimulate the cells in your skin that have relaxed with age. The therapist pulled on metallic gloves and with the slightest of tingling sensations, worked the cream into the skin to contour the face.
By the end of the 20-minute session, visitors saw the results of the CLE treatment, despite only experiencing one-fifth of the total beauty treatment time. Fine lines were visibly reduced and skin felt elastic and youthful to the touch.
